About Port Douglas

If you drive for about an hour north of Cairns airport, follow the winding "coast road", admire the spectacular scenery and you'll eventually reach the small town of Port Douglas.

Driving into town you'll notice the lush green gardens, resorts and large palm trees lining the road. Eventually a left bend will take you into the center of Port Douglas with its plethora of world-class restaurants and various shops aimed at the tourist crowd.

Port Douglas is definately a significant tourist hub with easy access to both the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef and of course its own famous beach.
