About The Area

Drive approximately an hour north and you'll enter the pristine Daintree Rainforest, teeming with life (crocodiles!) and natural beauty. This is really where the term "where the rainforest meets the reef" was really invented.

Likewise, board one of the many boats operating from Port Douglas and you'll be at the outer Barrier Reef in approx an hour. Enjoy amazing, world-changing snorkelling or diving in an underwater garden.
